Last weekend, St. Jude Children’s Hospital hosted its annual Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer in over 50 cities across the nation. This event represents the culmination of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and brings together thousands of people to support cancer victims and the hospital’s research efforts. More than $150K was raised in Seattle alone, with AIM Consulting donating over $1,300 for the cause. All donations will be used for treatment, travel, housing, and food costs so that families won’t have to worry about anything other than the well-being of their child.
Since it opened 50 years ago, St. Jude has developed treatments that have helped improve the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%. If you would like to help them in their mission to hit 100%, click here or call 800-805-5856.
