AIM is excited to recognize Lead Consultant Joel Proctor’s volunteer mentorship efforts for the University of Washington’s Master of Science in Entrepreneurship program. The year-long Master of Science in Entrepreneurship program is designed to help students explore entrepreneurship in all its forms: consumer products, tech, clean tech, VR/AR, social impact, and more. It blends academic frameworks, practical knowledge, and mentorship to build entrepreneurial capabilities.
In his mentorship role, Joel will help students turn their ideas into reality. This will include regular meetings during the testing and development phases, and activities ranging from teaching workshops (D&A themed DIY projects) to judging business model competitions.
“I love being surrounded by passionate people and mentor student entrepreneurs because I want to share my experiences with the hopes they will be able to more successfully navigate the uncertainties inherent to starting and running a business.”
