Steve Tycast has over 20 years of global business and IT experience, with a distinct focus on collaborative leadership, technology and operations management, client delivery, and strategic solution architecture. He specializes in Advanced Analytics (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) where he frequently translates business needs into IT solutions. Leveraging his expertise in Global Business Management, Solution Architecture, Strategic Solution Sales Management, and Program Management, he helps clients enhance existing solutions and implement new technologies while increasing overall return on investment.
Prior to AIM, Steve was the Director of Advanced Analytics and Emerging Technology for Optum/UnitedHealth Group where he worked closely with business executives and technology leadership across the enterprise to understand complex business challenges, and design and execute strategic analytic roadmaps. He had a critical role in helping facilitate a broader understanding of how artificial intelligence and machine learning can accelerate business decisions in a more proactive and informed manner.
Steve graduated from the University of Miami (FL) with a B.B.A in both Finance and Computer Information Systems. He spent several years in corporate and consulting firms and went on to receive his M.B.A from Bethel University with concentrations in MIS and Entrepreneurship. His most recent accomplishment was graduating from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management in their Executive Education program for Data Science Leadership.
Steve enjoys using his free time to spend with his family, exercising, watching college football, and running his non-profit organization, Hola-IT, whose mission is to provide individuals and schools in Latin America with educational and technology solutions to create a more connected world.
